This is Jack(: He used to be my father’s old fiddle. Jack has a cold and distant past so there’s really not much I can tell you about him, except that my mother found him in a pawn shop 20 some-odd years ago and gave him a new home with my father. He’s definitely quite old though. Yes, I do realize he is in need of a G-string(x

Bassoon Reed Making (aka “The Popkin Book”) by Mark Popkin and Loren Glickman
It’s quite interesting, I do say. It goes into detail about every possible thing there is that involves making reeds. I have yet to try their style on making them, but I am learning quite a bit. Definitely check it out, those of you who are interested in/are making Bassoon Reeds.
